PhD Candidate Katrina Morgan has been selected in the inaugural cohort of Kenan Graduate Fellows in the College of Arts & Sciences. One of only ten graduate students in the college chosen for this fellowship, Katrina has distinguished herself as an outstanding researcher and teacher, and will serve as an ambassador in sharing her story with prospective students the college hopes to recruit. We would like to recognize one of our own assistant professors, Yaiza Canzani, for being named a 2018 Sloan Research Fellow!
There are 126 early-career scholars who represent the most promising scientific researchers working today. Their achievements and potential place them among the next generation of scientific leaders in the U.S. and Canada. Winners receive $65,000, which may be spent over a two-year term on any expense supportive of their research.
